Pay Attention
A lesson learned today: Make sure you pay attention when you add soy sauce to your dish, making sure you aren't grabbing the fish sauce by mistake. That is all.

On a related note: Make sure you pay attention when you add malt vinegar to your fish and chips, making sure you aren't grabbing the soy sauce by mistake.
*whew*....at least I wasn't the only 'doof' who did something like that recently!! I watched Bobby Flay's chocolate chip cookie Throwdown and decided to make my own HUGE cookies. And I have to say my second batch came out GREAT. Mostly because I didn't somehow dump 1/4 cup of salt instead of the sugar in that second batch ;-)
Also, when you make puff pastry, use the correct measuring cup. Accidentally using a 2-cup measure instead of a 1-cup measure for the flour makes for a really hard time rolling out the dough.
(I was young, stupid and didn't know the difference between dry and liquid measuring utensils)
I think fish sauce adds a little something different... it's quite pleasant. But yes, I agree. oh and no salt for sugar. I seem to always nearly do that.
Oye, that just made me nauseaus.
Ouch.
That just made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.
